BANGKOK
CITY & TEMPLE TOUR (1/2 DAY)
We visit the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s
landmark and the most praised royal monument in Thailand.
The 61-acre complex includes: Wat Phra Kaeo, the holiest
Buddhist site in the country which houses the most important
image the Emerald Buddha; the Golden Chedi; the Pantheon
of the Chakri Kings; and the Eight Coloured Towers.
Dress code is implemented when visiting these revered
sites.
Afterwards, we visit three of the capital’s most
stunning temples to gain a rich insight into Buddhism
and architecture in Bangkok.
The Wat Traimit houses the world’s largest solid
gold Buddha - 5.5 tones of precious metal!
Wat Benchamaborpit or the “Marble Temple”
is a fascinating fusion of classical Thai architecture
and 19th century Italian design and boasts marble and
stained-glass windows.
Wat Pho, the oldest temple in Bangkok, houses the Reclining
Buddha, a 45-metre-long statue which depicts Buddha
entering Nirvana. Wat Pho is also "Thailand’s
first university" and houses a wealth of art. It
is still an important centre for traditional medicine.
We follow with a trip through Bangkok’s bustling
China Town with its trademark red gold shops.

CORAL
ISLAND TOUR
Only two hours from Bangkok, the beautiful beaches of
Koh Larn - an idyllic island located just west of Pattaya
- make a perfect day-trip. Known as Coral Island and
covering an area of about 4 square kilometers, you spend
the day swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Enjoy the
abundant coral and underwater world, either from the
glass-bottom boat or by diving in. Price includes travel
to and from Pattaya, transfer by boat to Koh Larn and
Thai lunch.
