DUBAI
CITY TOUR
We start with a photo stop at the at the famous Burj Al
Arab Later proceed to some of Dubai’s new landmarks,
stop at the beautiful Jumeirah Mosque.The Jumeirah Mosque
is a dominant landmark of Dubai city.
Later head for a drive along the Dubai Creek, lifeline
and pulse of the city.
We take a stroll through the narrow lanes of the historic
Bastakiya area, with its beautifully restored old buildings,
and then on to the Al Fahidi Fort which houses the Dubai
Museum.
We then cross the creek in an Abra (water taxi) to continue
our exploration of Dubai`s traditional souks; the spice
souk is a sensory delight with a host of cooking spices,
herbs, rose petals and incense. Our trip ends at the glittering
windows of the gold souk.
Burj Al Arab
In its relatively short tenure on the Dubai coastline
this legendary and symbolic hotel has attracted international
attention and awe, ensuring its place as one of the most
photographed structures in the world, and consistenly
voted the worlds most luxurious hotel.
Jumeirah Mosque
Built in the medieval Fatimid tradition, this stone structure
is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. While strolling
through the Mosque at sunset, you will be washed in shadows
by this elegant formation.
Dubai Creek
The creek divides Dubai into two parts - Deira Dubai and
Bur Dubai. The creek is 14 Kms long. It now has eight
wharfages each capable of catering to 31 ships of capacity
of up to 800 tonnes. Around 720,000 tonnes of cargo pass
through the creek each year. Only wooden ships are allowed
to enter the creek to keep its traditional feature.Abras
(small wooden boats) serve as taxis for those who want
to cross from the Deira side to the Bur Dubai side. The
journey takes around ten minutes and costs just 50 fils.
DESERT
SAFARI WITH BBQ DINNER
Our trained guides make you enjoy the splendid Dune Bashing
in 4WDs explaining about the desert and its features.
We move on to the camel farm and the sunset point where
you enjoy the setting sun from the highest point. Nothing
can compare with the magic of the desert sunset; a gentle
breeze blowing over the dunes and the distant sound of
the Muezzin from the minarets.
As dusk falls you move to camp where a delicious BBQ dinner
is served. Preceded by a traditional Arabic starter, fresh
bread is cooked over an open fire. You can enjoy sand
skiing, camel riding and henna painting. Join the belly
dancer and dance your evening to the Arabic music or you
can just lie back and listen to the silence of the desert
enjoying the cool breeze of the desert.
DHOW
CRUISE WITH DINNER
Experience the sights and sounds of the Dubai Creek on
board a traditional dhow. Your trip will take you from
the creek mouth, dodging the abras or water taxis, along
the creek up to the floodlit Dubai Creek Golf Club, whose
clubhouse resembles sails. The buffet is a selection of
Arabic fare.
